Preferred Provider

The Physical Therapy Place is a preferred provider for many insurances including:

  • Some Aetna plans

  • Cigna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • EBMS

Other Plans

Most insurance plans are accepted, including:

  • Alaska Care (Aetna)

  • Cigna

  • EBMS

  • GEHA

  • Medicare

  • Medicaid (Denali Kid Care)

  • Meritain

  • Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Project Access

  • Tricare

  • Project Access 

  • Workman's Compensation

We recommend you call to check if we are a preferred provider for your specific insurance plan. 

If you do not have insurance or wish to pay cash, we also accept self pay.



Alaska is a direct access state, this means you may see a physical therapist without a referral. Some insurance companies, however, require a referral.

Referrals are accepted from physicians and nurse practitioners.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Please give 24 hours notice for cancellation of your appointment so your slot may be filled by someone on the wait list. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, an $80 cancellation fee will be charged. If you do not attend an appointment and you do not call to cancel or reschedule, you will be charged for the appointment ($80).
